What the developer wrote
The Last Visitor was created by a solo developer with the support of generative AI tools. AI was used to generate a small number of specific visual assets, including the fire extinguisher overlay, a blurred shadow silhouette, and some store page imagery. These assets were then manually selected, edited, and integrated into the game by the developer. All core creative work — story, characters, dialogue, code, game design, puzzles, and audio — was created by a human. The use of AI was limited to isolated visual elements and did not affect the narrative, gameplay, or artistic direction of the game. The developer believes in transparency and wants players to know exactly how the game was made.
