What the developer wrote
Some pre-rendered visual assets in Clipped Reality (including certain monster, prop, scare, cinematic and store marketing images) were created or assisted with generative AI tools, then selected, edited and integrated by the developer. Story narration, including the opening film and recovered recordings, uses pre-generated Fish Audio recordings with an original synthetic voice. These finished audio files are bundled with the game. Other ambience and sound effects use original deterministic synthesis. Level layouts use traditional seeded procedural generation, and story text and Echo Logs are scripted content. The game does not generate new images, audio or narrative during gameplay and does not connect to external AI services while you play.
